Double-row angular contact ball bearings can withstand large radial loads as the main radial load, combined radial and axial loads, and torque loads. They can limit the axial displacement of the shaft in both directions and can be used as fixed-end bearings. They have a bidirectional thrust load capacity, equivalent to two single-row angular contact ball bearings arranged back-to-back. For non-high-speed conditions where only the axial load is relatively large, deep groove ball bearings with large contact angles can be used to replace the more expensive angular contact bearings.
